How to Play Yukon Solitaire
Objective of the Game
The goal of Yukon Solitaire is to build four foundation piles, one for each suit, in ascending order from Ace to King. You win the game when all cards are moved to the foundation piles.
How to Play
- The game starts with 7 tableau piles. The first pile has 1 card, the second has 2 cards, and so on, up to the seventh pile, which has 7 cards. The top card of each pile is face-up.
- Cards in the tableau can be moved onto another card of the opposite color and one rank higher (e.g., a red 7 can be placed on a black 8).
- You can move sequences of cards in descending order as a group, as long as they are in alternating colors.
- Empty tableau piles can be filled with any King or a sequence starting with a King.
- The foundation piles are built in ascending order by suit, starting with the Ace. Once a card is placed in the foundation, it cannot be moved back to the tableau.
Tips for Playing
- Focus on uncovering face-down cards in the tableau to increase your options for moves.
- Try to create empty tableau piles early, as they can be used to temporarily hold cards or sequences.
- Build foundation piles as soon as possible to free up space in the tableau.
- Plan ahead and think about how moving one card or sequence will affect your ability to uncover other cards.
- Use empty tableau piles strategically to rearrange cards and create new sequences.
